An air quality consultant is a specialised environmental consultant that deals with ambient (outdoor) air pollution issues. Air quality consultants help businesses, industry and government minimise and manage their air pollution emissions to the environment.
It is common for an air quality consultant to be involved in the Development Application (DA) process with Council or the EPA to investigate the impacts to the local air quality as a result of the development or to investigate the local air quality impacts to the proposed development where the health of occupants may be compromised.
